Here is a quick thought for you. We are aware of other people and rightly so. We do not live in isolation. However, here is where it gets tricky. How realistic are you in thinking of them? Furthermore, how realistic are you in how you think they see and know you? And, is this all up to them or is it up to you?
It may be appropriate to consider how other people feel about you. This could be a catalyst for improving aspects of yourself that are less than stellar. However, there is a trap to be avoided in thinking of others in relation to you. Here is what I mean.
When It's Up to You
You are not the center of other people’s universe. This means that:
The bottom line is that you are responsible for how people understand, relate to, and accommodate you is up to you. The same goes for what people expect from you. How will you get these over? At the end of the day, it is about taking responsibility. And it is all up to you.
